Thirty-One Gifts founder Cindy Monroe has taken on a growth equity partner in Kanbrick, the investment firm led by former Waren Buffett deputy Tracy Britt Cool and Brian Humphrey. Terms were not disclosed.
Monroe will remain with the company but will step aside as CEO, succeeded by Elizabeth Thibaudeau, formerĀ CEO of Jamberry.
Britt Cool left Berkshire Hathaway last year to launch her own investment business. Chicago-based Kanbrick.
Monroe started Thirty-One Gifts in 2003 to sell bags, luggage and accessories through home parties.
