James (Jimmy) Canzoniero joined Gamse full-time in 2008, but his employment history at Gamse goes all the way back to sweeping the plant floors and packing boxes in 1995. He was elevated to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2014, implementing a thorough modernization plan across the business & particularly in production & finance. Following the untimely passing of his father & best friend, Dan Canzoniero, in 2018, Jimmy took on the role of President & CEO of Gamse. In 2020, demonstrating a commitment to the company's legacy and future, he acquired a controlling interest in the company from his other family members. Under his stewardship, Gamse has maintained its position as a leading company in its sector.  It is one of very few closely-held printing companies that span three different printing technologies (offset, flexo, & digital) to meet the diverse needs of the world’s largest food & beverage companies.

A Duke University alumnus, Canzoniero graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Additionally, he holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and is a proud graduate, supporter & parent at Baltimore’s Gilman School.

Residing in Baltimore, Jimmy is married to Dr. Jenna Canzoniero, an esteemed Assistant Professor of Oncology at Johns Hopkins University, who is spearheading the creation of new, less invasive breast cancer biopsy techniques. They are the proud parents of two children, Juliana (10) and Christopher (6).

George Nyquist was the owner of Nyquist Inc. from 1978 to 2020. Nyquist Inc. distributed paint and related supplies to body shops, sign makers, and small manufacturers in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and parts of Pennsylvania and North Carolina. At the time of purchase in 1978, Nyquist Inc. had one store and 9 employees. In 2020, Nyquist Inc. had a warehouse, 4 satellite stores, and 58 employess. During those 42 years, company revenues increased 37 times.
