Tanner is a Managing Director at Jumana, and is responsible for strategy, business development, transaction execution, and portfolio management. In addition to his role as Managing Director, Tanner serves on Jumana’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Jumana, Tanner was a Managing Director and Investment Committee member at Hastings Equity Partners, a private equity fund investing in entrepreneur-lead, lower middle market businesses. Tanner serves on the Board of Directors for several privately-held companies, the Board of Directors for ACG Houston, the Energy Advisors Board at the University of Houston, and the Asante Society at the Houston Zoo.
Tanner began his career at State Street Bank in an operational finance role focused on daily securities processing, including domestic and international equities, fixed income and financial reporting activities. Tanner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH.
Tanner lives in Houston with his wife, and their two children.

He is also currently raising capital for his first private equity fund, Marauder Capital.
