Independence-based Merry Meeting Group has sold its Frontier Adjusters Inc. claims adjusting business to Davies Group of London.
Frontier, founded in 1957, provides national field claims adjusting services across all 50 states and parts of Canada through a network of franchise locations. It specializes in major property, casualty and auto insurance claims, working with national and regional insurance companies, third party administrators, self-insured entities and governmental agencies.
Davies Group is a provider of management, consulting, and digital services to highly regulated businesses, including insurance, financial services, utilities and communications, as well as to regulatory bodies.
The acquisition is the first U.S. claims dea for Davies Group, and will serve as the independent adjusting arm of its new U.S. Claims Solutions business. Frontier Senior Vice President Milo Bolendervwil lead the business with support from Vice President Tyson Ware. All Frontier employees will continue in their roles.
"The addition of Frontier to our growing platform means we can provide our insurance clients with multi-line claims solutions in the US and Canada, in addition to our established operations in the UK and Ireland," Davies CEO Dan Saulter said in a statement. “Extending our claims operations to North America is an important part of our growth strategy. We plan to continue developing our solutions in North America through adding complementary TPA and supply chain capabilities both organically and through additional acquisitions in the future.”
The deal is Davies’ fourth acquisition of 2019.
