MFS Supply is acquiring the SecureView line of ClearBoarding products and services from SecureView LLC, a company started by Safeguard Properties founder Robert Klein. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to close by the end of August, were not disclosed. SecureView ClearBoarding is designed to look like traditional windows but serves to secure unoccupied properties without exposing vacancy or blighting neighborhoods with plywood. As a result, ClearBoarding helps maintain property values and supports neighborhood stabilization by protecting properties from intrusion to increase safety and prevent squatting associated with vacancy. MFS Supply, a national distributer of property preservation and renovation materials, will be adding SecureView's brand and product line to its offerings. "We are excited to bring SecureView closer to our customer base," MFS Supply President Brandon Guzman said in a statement. "We have sold SecureView's ClearBoarding solution to our customers for a long time, and this purchase enables us to supply this product more efficiently to our customers, as well as build upon our brand promise of creating a one-stop-shop experience."
