The Riverside Co. has added Vivid Learning Systems, one of the nation’s fastest-growing providers of online safety training, to its Health & Safety Institute platform. Adding the Pasco, Washington-based Vivid, a national provider of comprehensive health and safety training courses, bulks up the combined online workplace safety training topics available. But that’s not all. “This is about more than bringing new content to customers of both HSI and Vivid,” Riverside Principal Steve Burns said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to be adding Vivid’s proven sales and marketing capabilities and outstanding management team to the HSI family of brands.” Vivid marks HSI’s third acquisition since Riverside acquired it in 2015. Working with Riverside Managing Partner Suzy Kriscunas and Burns on the deal were:

Managing Partner Jeremy Holland sourced the deal for the firm on a fully proprietary basis and Partner Anne Hayes worked on financing the transaction. MidCap Financial and Maranon Capital provided financing for the transaction. Jones Day advised Riverside on the investment.
