Alan Castillo is a Transaction Advisory Services Partner at BDO and leads the Operational M&A practice. He has over 20 years of experience executing M&A, divestitures and strategic partnerships. He brings deep expertise in strategic and operational diligence, planning, implementation and optimization. He has a wealth of experience helping corporate and PE clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions. Prior to joining BDO, Alan was a Partner at Ernst & Young.

Additionally, he has built FP&A and Corp Dev teams from scratch, fostering a culture of collaboration and serving as strategic business partners in corporate development and financial planning and analysis.

Mark Ties
CEO & President
Perforce Software

Mark Ties is the Perforce CEO & President. Since 2018, he has been responsible for leading the company and executing its mission to serve our customers. He was the COO/CFO at Perforce in 2016–2018.

Since joining Perforce, Mark has driven 8 acquisitions, while nearly doubling revenue and improving organic growth.

Mark brings 3 decades of experience in accounting, finance, operations, and mergers & acquisitions to his role. He served as CFO and COO for public and private equity-backed technology companies for the past 20 years.

Prior to joining Perforce, Mark was COO/CFO of private equity-backed HelpSystems, Inc., and CFO at publicly held Xata/XRS Corporation.

Mark holds a B.S. in Accounting from Minnesota State — Mankato. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
