Manny founded CPI/Guidant and St. Jude Medical, which developed the lithium pacemaker and the bi-leaflet heart valve, which resulted in the creation of over $56 billion in value. He is globally recognized as a “Living Legend of Medicine,” award-winning USA Master Entrepreneur, Member of both Halls of Fame in MN Business & MN Science & Technology, and recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Science Degree from the Univ. of Iowa.
