Charlie Santos-Buch is an Operating Partner at AE Industrial, bringing 45 years of investment banking and private equity experience. He helped establish the firm’s Industrial Services vertical, leading its efforts to source, execute, and build value across multiple platforms, including service on the Boards of BHI Energy, Resolute Industrial, and Altus Fire & Life Safety. He also chairs the Board of United Building Solutions, a recent HVAC investment.

A Partner since AE Industrial’s inception, Charlie has executed more than $35 billion in financings and M&A transactions. Previously, he led transaction origination at UBS Capital and UBS Capital Americas and founded the Financial Sponsor Coverage Groups at UBS AG and PaineWebber. His career has also included senior roles at CIBC World Markets, Oppenheimer, and Alex. Brown & Sons, beginning at Kidder Peabody in corporate finance and M&A.

Charlie is Chairman and CEO of Compact Container Systems and holds a BA from Harvard and an MBA from Wharton.
