As a charitable wealth strategist and attorney at NCF, Michael works with generous families and their professional advisors, sharing concepts and strategies that allow them to leverage the impact of their giving by minimizing their income and estate tax liabilities.

In his role with NCF, Michael’s primary focus and expertise is facilitating charitable gifts of complex assets including closely held businesses, real estate, and intellectual property assets. He also helps families to plan their estates in a manner that dramatically increases their charitable giving, and in most cases avoids estate tax completely—regardless of the size of their estates.

Ms. Geerdes received the prestigious: Case of the Year award Four Years in a row for her winning cases in the highest supreme court Attorney

Holly Geerdes was named: Outstanding Lawyer by the State Bar, who governs lawyers in the state.

Thereafter, Ms. Geerdes opened her own law firm specializing in asset protection and estate planning and has been practicing for 20 years.

During her private practice, Ms. Geerdes was named one of the top 14 attorneys under 40 by The Daily Report, the legal newspaper for attorneys and judges.

She was also named Super Lawyer under 40 voted by the legal community, attorneys and judges in the State where only the top 2.5 percent of attorneys under 40 in are selected.

Ms. Geerdes was selected as top 100 trial lawyers in the nation by the National Trial Lawyers Association.

She was also named 25 most influential Asian American Awarded super lawyer.

Ms. Geerdes was also named top 2.5 percent best lawyer from 2018 through 2022, in the area of estate planning, tax planning, and asset protection, voted by judges and attorneys.

Attorney Geerdes continues to be sought out to train lawyers, CPAs, and Financial Advisors nationwide in estate planning and asset protection. Attorney Geerdes law firm has offices across the United States with the headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia.

David Arnold Mimms

David Mimms is chairman of Mimms Enterprises, running the family-owned commercial real estate developer business with his brothers, Lonnie and Robert.

David has spent his career in commercial real estate construction. He began his journey by working for three years at Wichita, Kansas-based Eby Construction before deciding to come work alongside his father, Malon D. Mimms, in 1979, to oversee leasing and construction.

David is dual member of First Baptist Alpharetta and Sanibel Community Church and is on the board of Renew World Outreach. He served as a trainer for John Maxwell’s EQUIP leadership training in Ethiopia, and he has also served on the board of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Cherokee, Tim Elmore’s “Growing Leaders,” and Dominic Russo’s “One Nation, One Day.” David also previously served as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Cumming.

David is an Atlanta native who attended Lakeside High School and graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in civil engineering. David and his wife Nora have four children and thirteen grandchildren.

Erek Mimms

Erek was exposed to commercial real estate before he learned how to walk. He comes from a commercial real estate family and is a 4th Generation commercial real estate professional that has experienced all aspects of the business. Erek has both extensive property management and construction experience. He has worked on a variety of construction projects, from small to large ground up construction projects. Erek has a keen eye for inspecting and evaluating commercial properties, to determine what is working and what needs to be addressed. There is not a construction aspect that he has not touched or supervised. He is one of those few individuals in our industry that can look at properties and understand them from both a management and an ownership perspective. Erek earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Berry College, and is a licensed Conditioned Air Contractor in Georgia and South Carolina.
