John Alfonsi is a partner at Prosperity LLC and business valuation practice group leader where he brings over 40 years of experience in tax and advisory services. He focuses his practice on business valuation and tax planning and consulting for closely-held business owners and family offices.

George has 30+ years’ experience in the fire & security space. He co-founded Meridian Fire & Security LLC which is a leading provider of fire and life safety services in the intermountain region. The Company services a diverse customer base of municipalities, building owners, property managers, general contractors, electrical contractors, and construction companies across the commercial, industrial, educational, government, military, and correctional facilities end-markets. Additionally, the Company serves as a sole-source fire protection solutions provider for customers, offering systems install, repair and maintenance, inspection, testing, and monitoring services.

On December 2nd, 2024 he sold Meridian Fire to Summit Fire Protection Co.  Prior to Meridian, he founded and exited a fire & life safety company to Siemens.

Previously, George worked at several state-of-art research and development firms focusing on electronic systems for industry and government officials.

He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BSEE.
