Steve Berchem

Steve, a Founding Partner at Westbourne, is responsible for the sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities, transaction structuring and negotiation, capital raising and investor relations, and portfolio company management.

Before joining Westbourne, he most recently served as Vice President at Wintrust Financial Corporation, where he was responsible for identifying, evaluating, executing and actively monitoring middle-market financing transactions.

Prior to Wintrust, Steve worked in the private banking, corporate banking and investment banking divisions of JPMorgan. He currently serves on the boards of HV Manufacturing and Mesotech International.

Steve earned an MBA with Distinction from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University and a BS in Finance with Honors from Illinois State University. He resides in Charleston, SC with his wife and four children.
