Deepak Menon

Deepak is the Founder and CEO of Micro-LAM, Inc., a global product and solutions provider for the precision optics industry. Upon completing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Deepak founded Micro-LAM which was built off the foundation of his research and dissertation work. Deepak specializes in developing novel processes to manufacture hard-to-machine materials more efficiently. He and his team have been successful in developing diamond turning processes for traditionally non-turnable materials such as tungsten carbide, glass and more. He works closely with leading industries to develop processes that allow them to manufacture high-quality materials more efficiently. Today, these solutions are implemented and sold in over 30 countries worldwide. As a serial entrepreneur, Deepak constantly promotes the spirit of entrepreneurship within the Micro-LAM culture.
