Robert Tunheim

Robert Tunheim represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions and general business matters. He provides counsel to a variety of private equity groups in their formation, investments and liquidation transactions. 

His M&A and corporate finance work includes handling control transactions, minority investments, mezzanine financing transactions and corporate restructurings. Bob also provides general legal advice to businesses, including many of his private equity clients’ portfolio companies, on a variety of issues, including contract, finance, securities, licensing, choice of entity and other matters.

Throughout his professional career, Jim’s philosophy on investing has centered on providing clients with cost-effective, well-diversified portfolios and investment strategies that fit within a specific risk tolerance in order to help clients pursue their financial goals. In addition to his investment management expertise, Jim oversaw over 48 acquisitions and continues to lead the Wealth Enhancement Group business development efforts.

A frequent contributor to financial media, he has appeared on CNBC, Fox Business and BloombergTV, and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. He has also written a monthly column for since 2013. Jim has a B.S. from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.


Rhonda Donahoe

Rhonda Donahoe is the Chief Financial Officer of NJK Holding Corporation, a private single-family office for the Kazeminy family. She has over 16 years of working with NJK’s Chairman Nasser Kazeminy in multiple capacities. Her transaction experience includes both buy and sell-side deals, international joint ventures, restructuring deals, working capital negotiations, and successful post-acquisition integrations. As part of a particular NJK Holding sell-side transaction in 2004, the buyer, Kroll Ontrack, requested her to join their company, which specialized in litigation discovery, forensics and data recovery products. During her eight-year tenure at Kroll Ontrack, she was a key member of the finance leadership team during Kroll’s growth period which accomplished through strategic acquisitions and geographic expansion from a single US location to locations in 23 countries and over 8 US offices. Rhonda rejoined the NJK Holding team in 2012 to provide the finance leadership in evaluating investments, due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio management.

Prior to 1998 when she joined an NJK Holding Corporation portfolio company, she spent four years in the financial services public accounting practice and asset securitization consulting practice of KPMG Peat Marwick LLP. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Foundation in New York.

Adam Garcia Eveloff

Adam joined NEP in 2019 after spending 13 years at Castanea Partners. In his most recent role at Castanea, Adam led the consumer services vertical focusing on cultivating relationships, sourcing investments, overseeing deal execution, and helping establish firm strategy. Prior to Castanea, Adam worked at Goldman Sachs supporting business and financial analysis for M&A and financing transactions.


Vipul Patel

Vip Patel is a managing director in Aon’s Transaction Solutions Practice brokering, structuring and negotiating representations and warranties insurance policies in connection with mergers and acquisitions by private equity firms and corporations with a focus on healthcare transactions.
