Tatjana is an M&A partner at Bass, Berry & Sims, PLC and focuses on middle market acquisition and disposition transactions across a range of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, food and beverage, and technology. To date, Tatjana has advised clients in M&A transactions valued at over $20 billion in the aggregate. She is a frequent speaker on M&A topics and serves as a Chair of the American Bar Association’s “Private Target Deal Points Study,” which has been widely recognized as the gold standard for market metrics of key negotiated legal issues in M&A agreements.

Nick Cooper

Nick joined Council Capital in 2020, and his responsibilities include new investment evaluation, due diligence, and portfolio company support. Prior to joining Council, Nick was a Senior Associate at Cortec Group, a private equity firm based in New York City. Prior to Cortec, Nick was an Investment Banking Analyst at Piper Jaffray where he focused on M&A advisory services. He began his career as an Auditor at Ernst & Young.

Kevin McGrath

RiverGlade Capital

Kevin is a Vice President at RiverGlade. His primary responsibilities include origination, diligence, and execution of investment opportunities. Before joining RiverGlade in 2021, Kevin worked at Jackson Private Capital, a merchant bank to closely held businesses. Prior to that, he worked in private equity at Water Street Healthcare Partners and held roles at Citigroup and Wells Fargo Securities. Kevin holds a BS in Commerce from University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA from The University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Tyler Morgan

Tyler joined PNFP Capital Markets and Pinnacle Bank in 2016. On the capital markets side, Tyler advises middle-market companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raises and strategic alternatives. In addition, Tyler serves as counsel for PNFP Capital Markets. On the banking side, Tyler advises clients on interest rate risk management alternatives, including swaps and other derivatives.

Prior to Pinnacle, Tyler practiced law at a regional law firm in the Southeast. As an attorney, Tyler advised businesses and business owners on matters pertaining to choice of entity and formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, employment agreements and wills and trusts. Tyler also represented corporate clients in commercial litigation in state and federal courts.

John Pontius

Mr. Pontius joined Capital Alignment Partners in 2019 and serves as a Director. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pontius served in various investment and leadership roles at New York area private equity firms, specifically Wexford Capital LP and Ruton Capital LLC. His most recent position prior to Capital Alignment Partners was the Interim CEO of Predator Drilling Inc., a Wexford portfolio company with operations in Texas and Alberta, Canada. Mr. Pontius began his career at Wexford in 2004 and focused on investment originations and active portfolio management with a concentration in industrial and energy service businesses. He graduated from the University of North Carolina and is an avid Tar Heel fan.

Darshan is a Partner at Whistler Capital Partners. Prior to the formation of Whistler Capital Partners, Darshan was a Managing Director of Starr Investment Holdings focused on both growth equity and buyout investments across healthcare.  Prior to Starr Investment Holdings, Darshan was an Executive Director within the Global Healthcare Group at UBS Securities LLC.

Darshan serves as a member of the WCP Investment Committee and the WCP Valuation Committee. Darshan serves as a Board Observer at Radiology Partners and has previously served as a Director of CHG Healthcare and ConvenientMD.
