Jeff Benjamin

After graduating from The University of Massachusetts Amherst, Jeff Benjamin met Marc Vetri in New York City while working in the food industry. When Marc decided to return to his native Philadelphia to open Vetri Cucina, he tapped Jeff to be his business partner and general manager—and the rest is history.

Today, Jeff serves as co-founder of Vetri Cucina, and has worked alongside Marc to open many restaurants in the past 25 years including Fiorella, Fiore Rosso and Pizzeria Salvy located in the Philadelphia area, and Fiorella, Osteria Fiorella and Vetri Cucina in Las Vegas. Jeff is the co-founder and a board member of the Vetri Community Partnership. In 2015, he published his first book, Front of the House: Restaurant Manners, Misbehaviors & Secrets, a behind-the-scenes look at the details that go into an evening out, and his second book, Extra Innings: a memoir of fathers , fandom and fate was released in JanuaryIn addition to operating restaurants, Jeff enjoys helping entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry through angel investing and consultation. Currently he is an investor and sits on the boards of Federal Donuts, a quick serve restaurant company, and Simply Good Jars, a CPG salad product for the foodservice and grocery industry.

Jeff lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Melissa, and has two daughters. When not working, he can be found spending time with his family and rooting for his beloved sports teams, the Cubs and 76ers.

 

Kailash Kalantri

Acclaim Systems

Kailash Kalantri serves as President & CEO of Acclaim Systems, a certified minority-owned software solutions firm headquartered in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania.He has spent more than 25 years guiding the company’s expansion across commercial, state, and federal sectors. Under his leadership, Acclaim has grown to nearly 100 employees and earned recognition as an SBA 8(a), GSA, and Microsoft Solutions Partner. In the past few years, Acclaim acquired several products from other companies in different domains that were built on legacy platforms and rebuilt them using latest technologies.  This has created jobs and driven growth in PA as these products are currently being used by 30+ States.  

Kailash has played an active role in Pennsylvania’s technology ecosystem. His leadership extends beyond business growth; in 2017, he testified before the Pennsylvania House Government Affairs Committee on IT oversight reforms, advocating for stronger conflict-of-interest safeguards and tighter controls to prevent budget overruns. Through innovation, advocacy, and community engagement, Kailash continues to drive Acclaim’s mission and strengthen Pennsylvania’s technology landscape. Kailash is also the Treasurer and Director – Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority (BFTDA), PA Act 38 since 2014 and a Member of the Venture Investment Committee for Commonwealth of PA.
