Bill is a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate and Investment Bank.  Bill is the CEO and Co-Founder of InstaMed, a leading healthcare payments platform and network which was acquired by JPMorgan Chase in 2019.  Since the acquisition, Bill successfully led the integration of his company across multiple lines of business at the firm, and in 2020 he took on responsibility for healthcare payments across the firm.  Within this remit, Bill took responsibility for multiple legacy J.P. Morgan products and integrated them into the InstaMed platform and operating model to create the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Payments business.  Today, this business supports the J.P. Morgan Commercial Bank, the Chase Business Bank and the J.P. Morgan Corporate and Investment Bank.

Bill is a fintech visionary, entrepreneur, thought leader and operator with three decades of experience partnering and operating in the financial services industry.  His direct experience and skills cover technology, product, commercialization, financing, operations, compliance and organizational governance from startup through the scaling and growth stages of business.  He  possesses an unwavering passion for leveraging technology to transform products, business operations and go-to-market models.

Prior to InstaMed and J.P. Morgan, Bill was an executive in Accenture’s Health and Life Sciences practice, where he worked with senior executives at clients such as UnitedHealth Group, U.S. Department of Treasury, Anthem and other large Blues plans to develop strategies and lead projects in the areas of transaction processing, web-portals and stakeholder adoption. Prior to Accenture, Bill founded CareWide (now a part of Allscripts after three acquisitions), which developed Microsoft-based software for submitting electronic claims and managing healthcare provider offices.

Bill graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Economics and a concentration in German for which he was awarded the Book Prize.  Bill was a starting member of Penn’s Varsity Squash team and was nationally ranked since the age of 12.  Bill lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife, son and beloved dog.  When he is not working, Bill enjoys watching his son play squash, deep and fresh water fishing and crop farming in the Western Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania.
