Tim Murch

Tim Murch, CBSE, CEO & Managing Partner of 4M Building Solutions, was founded in 1978 and is one of the largest janitorial and related facilities services providers in the Midwest, Southeast, Northeast and Western regions of the United States. Tim has led 4M Building Solutions to become a multi-regional company, operating in 23 states, with $200,000,000 in sales annually and over 5,000 Team Members.  His vision and passion for the industry is demonstrated by driving 4M Building Solutions’ strategic vision to be the absolute best facilities services partner in the industry. As a Green Cleaning pioneer Tim was an original Green Seal Group Stakeholder that developed the Green Seal standard for cleaning services.

In addition to leading 4M Building Solutions, Tim also has served or serves on many boards: the Board of Directors of Building Services Contractors International (BSCAI), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the World Federation of Building Services Contractors (WFBSC), UMB Bank and is currently chairman of the Buddy Fund; which provides sporting equipment to underserved at risk kids. He also is an active member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), YPO, Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, and a co-founder and board member of the National Service Alliance (NSA), a group purchasing organization.

Tim is also involved in mentoring Lee Building Maintenance, a certified minority janitorial and facilities services provider.

Tim’s philosophy is to always give back as much, if not more than he can to the community, personally and professionally, in order to make our community better in every way while balancing his business, family and personal life. When not working, he enjoys spending as much time possible with his wife, Becky, and her three adult children and his three adult children, their seven grandchildren, ice hockey, working out, enjoying outdoor activities, and attending The Crossing Church.
