Succession Decisions: Preparing Family Businesses for What Comes Next

Presented By: Jensen McComas / KatzAbosch

Succession is more than a leadership transition—it’s a defining moment that shapes ownership, growth, and long-term value. In this session, operators, investors, and advisors explore how family businesses get their house in order ahead of generational change—aligning leadership, governance, and financial structures while evaluating strategic options. From preparing next-generation leaders to partnering with outside capital, panelists discuss how thoughtful planning can support partial liquidity, fuel growth, and position companies for what comes next.
