Jay Steinmetz

Jay Steinmetz founded Barcoding, Inc. in 1997, growing it into an Inc. 500 company recognized by Forbes and earning Ernst & Young’s 2006 Maryland Technology Entrepreneur of the Year. A board member for several organizations and former TEDCO chairman, he holds multiple patents and writes for major publications. In 2023 he sold most divisions and co-founded Power Up Connect.
