Grand Rapids’ Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber Inc. has purchased Northwest Consultants Inc., bringing together two privately held consulting firms. The transaction should enable Fishbeck to develop a greater presence in Ohio and provide better, boarder service through four additional offices and more talent and experience.
Fishbeck and NCI have a history of partnership, and the two firms’ mission, culture and services are well-aligned, Fishbeck stated at the end of July.
Established in 1985, NCI’s team of 37 employees includes several professional engineers and surveyors licensed within its four offices in Canton, Michigan; Toledo and Dayton, Ohio; and Indianapolis, Indiana.
Fishbeck, an all-in-one service provider with engineers, scientists and architects, now has 475 employees and 15 offices.
