Padnos has acquired Howell-based Regal Recycling in a deal that gives the 104-year-old Holland company two new locations. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The plant in Howell will be operated by Padnos while the Whitmore Lake location will be managed by GLR Advanced Recycling, a partner of Padnos.
Founded in 1905 by Louis Padnos, the recycling company has grown to more than 600 employees in 19 locations throughout Michigan and Indiana.
"This move furthers regional consolidation and allows us to better serve our customers throughout Michigan,” Padnos President Jonathan Padnos said in a statement. “Padnos views Howell as a vibrant and growing community and we want to be part of that growth."
