KNNP-TV Ltd. plans to purchase Digital Media Concepts PGH to provide the Greater Pittsburgh region with a large social media presence and digital art firm for photo/video production. The agreement was reached after four months of negotiations with DMC.
Digital Media Concepts PGH currently has over 180,000 followers in the Pittsburgh-area, with more than 50 large firms/companies in the Greater Pittsburgh region. KNNP-TV Pittsburgh will be utilizing all social media profiles to promote general news and breaking news articles throughout the western Pennsylvania area, which will increase unique viewership and retention.
The transaction will be completed on Oct. 1, 2019, with all DMC social media accounts utilized immediately.
KNNP-TV Ltd., a Roku-based digital TV news station in Kittanning, consists of 12 staff reports and two editors, with dozens of freelance reporters nationwide from Connecticut to California.
