Vivaldi Capital Management LLC is opening a new branch office in Beachwood, Ohio. The office will be managed by William Proper and Greg Goldfeder, former principals of The Proper Analysis Corp., who will join Vivaldi as partners.
Proper’s background includes decades as a practicing CPA and 26 years as a registered investment adviser. Goldfeder, a chartered financial analyst, has 18 years of experience in the investment industry.
“As we’ve rapidly grown across our Chicago headquarters and California locations, we continue to seek out firms that are a strong cultural fit within our wealth management philosophy,” Vivaldi President and Co-Chief Investment Officer Michael Peck said in a statement. “Both Bill and Greg are highly regarded in the industry and their practice is a natural extension of the Chicago platform.”
The Proper Analysis Corp. has focused on the financial needs of high-net-worth individuals, principally in the greater Cleveland area, since 1993. The firm was an early adopter of broadly diversified portfolios that use numerous asset classes in addition to stocks and bonds. Proper was seeking a progressive firm that can embrace unconventional ways for investors to reap benefits from creative, yet prudent financial management.
Since its inception in 2011, VCM has grown organically at a rate of 30% annually and, together with its affiliates, Vivaldi had an estimated $2.8 billion of assets under management as of Sept. 30.
