Blue Highway Capital, headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has made a growth equity investment in Western Composites, LLC, a holding company comprising manufacturers and assemblers of structural composites and components for business, commercial and military aviation customers.
Acquired by JW Hill Capital as part of a corporate carve-out, these businesses are poised to capitalize on growing demand for stronger, light weight, advanced aerospace components and assemblies, the company said in an August 25 emailed press release.
With locations on the southernmost border of California, and northern border of Washington State, Blue Highway’s investment footprint now extends into the furthest rural reaches.
“We’re pleased to support Western Composites’ accelerating growth in existing and new markets” said Ryan Pierce, Principal at Blue Highway, in a statement.
“John Hill, Neal Nordstrom and their team’s dedication to creating quality jobs in remote areas is fundamental to our strategy and brings meaningful diversification to our portfolio,” added Christine Jones, Blue Highway’s Managing Partner. “We are pleased with Blue Highway Capital’s participation in these well positioned aerostructure composite businesses,” said John Hill, Managing Partner, JW Hill Capital.
