CPL, a Rochester, New York-headquartered architecture, engineering and planning firm, has expanded its footprint to Pittsburgh, with the acquisition of Image Associates Inc. The two firms’ service offerings are complementary, and the transaction should allow CPL to better serve its current clients while establishing new relationships in the Pittsburgh region.
The new location brings CPL’s total staff level to 440 team members, representing CPL’s 16th office and first in Pennsylvania.
Image Associates, founded in 1986, has grown into a well-respected architectural design firm serving regional clients in the health care, corporate and commercial sectors.
Image Associates’ clients will benefit from deepened discipline bench strength as well as expanded in-house design expertise. Image Associates and CPL also share several common clients making for a seamless transition in integrating ongoing project work. It is anticipated that several staff members will be added to the Pittsburgh location over the next year.
