Hawkeye Hotels has closed on the acquisition of the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton in Cranberry Township, 20 miles north of Pittsburgh. With this acquisition, Iowa-based Hawkeye Hotels is expanding its footprint in the Northeast.
This particular Hampton Inn & Suites in Cranberry opened less than a year ago.
The company is positioned to develop additional hotels in the Pittsburgh area, including a 150-room Holiday Inn in Erie, which is under construction and expected to open in 2020.
Hawkeye Hotels owns and operates over 50 hotels across the country, employs more than 1,500 staff across its portfolio of hotels and corporate offices, and maintains lasting affiliations with leading brands, including Marriott, Hilton, InterContinental and Starwood.
