Incline Equity Partners’ portfolio company Continental Batteries has acquired Metroplex Battery and Ellis Battery, distributors of aftermarket batteries to the automotive, commercial, golf and marine markets. This marks eight acquisitions for Continental in nine months, bringing the Dallas company’s total footprint to 50 branches in 15 states.
No financial terms were disclosed.
Continental plans to continue to partner with U.S. or Canadian-based aftermarket battery distributors that expand the company’s geographic footprint or add reputable brands to the product portfolio.
