KickUp, a Philadelphia-based K-12 professional learning analytics company, has closed a $1.75M Series A funding round led by SustainVC—a local venture capital firm focused on companies with social and environmental impact—and included Impact Engine, Spring Point Partners and education industry experts.
The round brings KickUp’s total capital raised to $4.75 million, which includes prior investments from Reach Capital, Red House Education, ImagineK12, Arcady Bay Partners, Rittenhouse Ventures, and Edovate Capital.
KickUp’s software-as-a-service platform helps K-12 school districts and PD providers schedule and manage job-embedded professional learning, assess program impact, and use formative data to drive better decision-making. Today, KickUp’s platform is used by more than 100,000 teachers. The Series A funding will be deployed to accelerate the company’s customer growth and platform expansion.
