Hermitage-based manufacturers’ representative Preferred Sales Inc. has acquired Bernardini-Link & Associates out of Pittsburgh. Dave Bernardini and Rick Link, who will join PSI’s outside sales team, have more than 60 years of sales experience with an active contractor following throughout western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
“Our current team has maintained a diligent and strategic focus on the hydronic and HVAC industries for several years,” PSI President Alan Guidish said, in a statement that was reported in Supply House Times. “The addition of two well-respected individuals in both Dave and Rick will take us to another level regarding product demand creation in the secondary hydronic and HVAC markets for our manufacturers and customers.”
Manufacturers joining the PSI line card include AIC Alliance, Beckett Corp. and Myson.
“Both Rick and I are ready for this next chapter in our careers and eager to begin our work with Preferred Sales,” Bernardini said. “Their agency has the resources, support and line card to allow us to continue earning a significant market share with our existing hydronic and HVAC contractors while also helping Preferred Sales do the same across their entire footprint.”
