Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm based out of New Philadelphia, Ohio, will merge in clients from Columbus CPA firm W.J. Ubbing and Associates, which primarily works with construction companies.
In an effort to facilitate a smooth transition for all parties in the midst of the 2020 tax season, the merger will occur in two phases. Phase one is taking place now and will impact audit clients and their services. Phase two will take place after April 15, which will allow Rea to bring on all remaining assurance and tax clients.
Rea & Associates Inc. employs more than 300 industry experts and service professionals who serve clients in the construction & real estate, government, health care, manufacturing, oil & gas and not-for-profit industries – as well as family businesses – through accounting, audit, tax and consulting services.
