Crane Group-owned Screen Machine Industries LLC, a manufacturer of crushing and screening machines, has acquired Diamond Z, a manufacturer of horizontal grinders, tub grinders and other related products. Bringing together the two material processing companies will help Screen Machine address the growing need for mobile material processing machines across a variety of industries.
“Screen Machine and Diamond Z both have a strong history of product quality, innovation and customer service," Diamond Z owner Steve Peel said in a statement. "As we continued to get to know one another and discuss potential opportunities, it became clear this would be a great partnership."
According to an article from Rental Equipment Register, both Etna, Ohio-based Screen Machine and Caldwell, Idaho-based Diamond Z will continue to operate from their facilities — Etna, Ohio and Caldwell, Idaho, respectively.
Columbus-based Crane Group bought Screen Machine in 2013.
