Columbus-based DASI Simulations raised $2.95 million in venture capital in a convertible note from unnamed investors on July 24.

The medical technology company uses advanced computational modeling, artificial intelligence and machine learning  improve the safety of care for structural heart disease patients.

In February 2022, the company announced that it had raised $1.5 million in seed financing. It also has received a $150,000 commercialization grant from the Ohio Third Frontier Technology Validation and Start-up Fund.

Biotech engineer Lakshmi Dasi invented the technology for DASI Simulations and co-founded the company with Teri Sirset in 2019.
