Architecture and engineering firm DLZ Corp. has acquired Johnson & Anderson Engineers, a civil engineering firm that works in the areas of municipal, water and wastewater engineering, survey and construction services. Acquiring Waterford, Michigan-based J&A will help DLZ to meet the increasing demand for civil engineering services in the Michigan region.

DLZ CEO Vikram (Raj) Rajadhyaksha said in a statement, “J&A’s exemplary professional engineers are an exciting addition to our team; they bring decades of experience in water resources engineering including MS4 compliance, SCADA, and asset management using CMMS/GIS.

  • With existing DLZ offices in Detroit, Lansing, Melvindale, Kalamazoo, and St. Joseph, this acquisition adds 40 professionals to the DLZ family and expands DLZ’s presence in Southeast and Western Michigan.
