TNEDICCA, a Columbus startup in location-based traffic crash intelligence and predictive analytics, has closed $750,000 in capital funding. The round was led by investment firm Pixel Perfect Ventures and Columbus-headquartered Grange Insurance, which is an early adopter of the technology and strategic partner in its development.

TNEDICCA — founded in 2015 Yiem Sunbhanich and Nizam Syed — plans to use this additional capital to continue to scale its crash data coverage and risk score implementations with auto insurance companies. TNEDICCA will be expanding its product development, account management and sales teams to help scale the platform and increase distribution to additional insurance companies.

Featured at the 2019 Auto Insurance Report National Conference, and now available in 39 states representing 91 percent of the $300 billion U.S. auto insurance market, TNEDICCA serves eight auto insurance companies, providing improved risk assessment and pricing for private passenger automobile, motorcycle and commercial automobile insurance.

A partner at Pixel Perfect Ventures, Raj Malik, also will be joining TNEDICCA’s board of directors. Pixel Perfect Ventures has offices in Washington D.C., Columbus and San Francisco.
