Installed Building Products Inc., an installer of insulation and complementary building products, has acquired Therm-Con LLC and Foamtech Inc. With trailing 12-month revenue of $4.7 million, Therm-Con enhances IBP’s presence in markets throughout Tennessee and its surrounding states.

Founded in 2005, Therm-Con primarily serves the Tennessee market, as well as the Georgia and Alabama markets through a branch location in Chattanooga. The company provides insulation, fireplace, shower doors, closet shelving and mirror installation services primarily for residential customers.

“To date, we have acquired over $30 million of annual revenues, which primarily consists of insulation installers. Acquisitions remain a key component of our growth plan and we continue to have a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities across multiple geographies, products and end markets,” IBP Chairman and CEO Jeff Edwards said, in a statement.

Installed Building Products, one of the nation’s largest new residential insulation installers, is a diversified installer of complementary building products, including waterproofing, fire-stopping, fireproofing, garage doors, rain gutters, window blinds, shower doors, closet shelving and mirrors and more for residential and commercial builders in the continental U.S. The company has a national network of more than 175 branch locations.
