NetGain Technologies, a leading IT services and cybersecurity provider, has acquired EasyIT, an established IT support and services company in Columbus, Ohio.
Brothers and owners, Eric and Kurt Hoeft started EasyIT in 1998. Their leadership, with significant help from CFO Marla Hoeft, has grown the company substantially over the years. They, along with the rest of the EasyIT team, will remain with the organization so the clients can expect to receive the same high-quality services from the people they have come to know over the years.
“Eric, Kurt, and Marla have been a joy to work with. They have built a very strong, growing managed IT services business with a wonderful culture and loyal customer base,” said Tim Burke, CEO of NetGain Technologies. “Their people-first approach, exemplified through their EasyIT & Me program, is impressive and aligns to our core values. We’re excited to welcome the EasyIT team to the NetGain family and look forward to supporting their continued growth through collaboration across all of our branch offices.”
This acquisition continues to expand NetGain’s presence in the Ohio River Valley Region. “Our acquisition strategy is unique,” said Tim Burke. “We follow a people-first, decentralized approach; meaning the company retains their current staff, branding, culture, and service delivery model in place long term, keeping employees and customers happy and expanding their network to benefit from collaboration across the broader NetGain team. This is a major benefit to MSP owners who are looking to sell their business.”
In the past 12 months, NetGain Technologies, backed by Evergreen Services Group, has made five major acquisitions in the IT services industry. Evergreen, who has multiple platform companies across the U.S. and Canada, has made over 50 MSP acquisitions and investments since 2018. Collectively, we continue to pursue acquisition opportunities for technology firms that want a great home for their employees, customers, and partners.
