Safelite® Group, a vehicle glass services and recalibration company and owner of Safelite® AutoGlass, has agreed to acquire the combined businesses of TruRoad, which includes COP TruRoad Parent LLC and COS SCS Parent LLC, from Dallas PE firm CenterOak Partners LLC. With this acquisition, Columbus-headquartered Safelite will have an increased capacity to expand its national footprint, accelerate growth and better serve its customers and clients.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Woburn, Massachusetts, TruRoad was formed through the combination of JN Phillips Auto Glass and existing CenterOak platform investment Techna Glass Inc. The company grew from CenterOak’s initial platform acquisition through nine strategic acquisitions.

TruRoad provides on-demand auto glass, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems recalibration and claims services. ADAS recalibrations will be a top priority for Safelite, as best practices, tools and trainings are shared.

TruRoad’s subsidiaries include JN Phillips Auto Glass, TechnaGlass, Harmon AutoGlass and Windshield Centers. TruRoad serves consumers, insurance carriers and fleets across 17 states through a network of 2,000 company‐owned, franchised and contracted providers.
