CCL Label Inc., a Strongsville-based maker of labels and design products, is buying 23 acres of municipally owned land from its home city as it looks to expand and create between 110 and 150 new manufacturing, research and development jobs.
Cleveland.com reports that the land is part of 169 acres the city owns on Foltz Parkway, just south of Drake Road, in an industrial zone.
Under the land sale agreement with the city, 100 percent of improvements to the 23 acres would be exempt from property taxes for 15 years. CCL’s proposed 100,000-square-foot building is said to cost about $16 million to construct, according to the Streetsboro City Council’s sale agreement cited in the article.
