Ohio Machinery, which does business as Northern Ohio Peterbilt, has agreed to purchase the operating assets of AMG Peterbilt Group, Bulk Transporter reports. The deal will expand the Broadview Heights, Ohio, company’s sales and service footprint in Central Ohio.
The transaction, expected to close by Nov 30, includes the assets at AMG’s Columbus, Marietta and Zanesville, Ohio locations, as well as AMG’s pre-delivery inspection center in Denton Texas, according to Bulk Transporter.
Ohio Machinery also formed an interim agreement with AMG to ensure the customer base doesn’t experience gaps in service or parts availability.
