Lakewood reportedly is getting a $30 million residential and commercial development, located on the site of the former Steve Barry Buick at 16000 Detroit Ave., west of Warren Road.
Cleveland.com reported that the Jerome Solove Development Inc. proposal includes two mid-rise buildings with 150 apartment units and as much as 5,000 square feet of commercial space on the 2.7-acre site. Solove already has a Lakewood development in the works: a 278-unit apartment building at 13815 Detroit Ave. near Bunts Rd.
The project at 16000 Detroit Avenue is expected to be underway in late 2019, according to Cleveland.com’s report, though approvals from Lakewood’s planning commission and architectural review board are still pending.
