The Riverside Co. has added Atlas Knowledge Ltd. to its Mintra Group platform. This is the second add-on for Mintra since Riverside’s 2014 investment in the company. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, Atlas provides digital learning solutions for safety-critical industries, primarily for the oil and gas sector. The company offers e-learning courses as well as a learning management system and a competence assurance management system that is sold globally. “The acquisition of Atlas creates a powerful leader in the global oil and gas e-learning market,” Riverside Managing Partner Antonio Cabral said in a statement. “Atlas brings a strong customer base and access to countries Mintra does not currently serve, offering a compelling value proposition for customers and distributors.” The add-on enhances Mintra’s position as a proprietary e-learning platform provider to oil and gas companies along with its HR solutions for competency management, crew rotation planning and payroll. In addition to new customers and geographies, the merger with Atlas provides access to new industry verticals. “This transaction allows us to even more effectively leverage our extensive e-learning library and HR solution to better service our combined client base,” Mintra Group CEO Scott Kerr said in a statement. “We are confident that Riverside’s expertise and Atlas´ operations will help Mintra expand its presence with partners worldwide and broaden our scope for further revenue generation.” Working with Cabral and Riverside Vice President Jeroen Lenssen on the deal were:

  • Associate Dan Parksjö
  • Senior Finance Executive Bernd Starrock
  • Senior Operating Executive Juan Rufilanchas
