The Riverside Co. has added Logical Freight Solutions P/L to its MNX Global Logistics platform company, a deal that complements MNX’s growing international capabilities, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Melbourne, Australia, LFS specializes in logistics for the health care, life sciences and biotech markets. Riverside Partner Peter Tsang said the deal opens up new customers to MNX, enables LFS to reach new geographies and leverage MNX’s time- and temperature-sensitive shipment capability. LFS is Riverside’s second add-on for MNX, following the 2016 acquisition of Aero Express Logistics. Riverside plans to continue growing MNX through a combination of organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions. In addition to Tsang, Operating Partner Steve Stubitz, Vice President Drew Flanigan and Senior Associate Fei Ren worked on the deal for Riverside. Partner Anne Hayes helped secure financing.
