Compass Self Storage, a member of the Amsdell family of companies, has acquired a self storage center in Leesburg, Florida — its 19th Compass Self Storage location in Florida and its 88th location nationwide.
The newest Compass Self Storage center offers over 50,000 net rentable square feet with a variety of unit sizes and climate-controlled units. The company plans to expand the storage center by building an additional climate-controlled building, which will also include a new state-of-the-art rental office.
In addition to the new building and rental office, planned physical improvements to the property include upgrades to security and the installation of individual access control.
"Our latest acquisition in Leesburg, Florida, expands the footprint of our storage centers located in the Central Florida market. We look forward to making improvements at our newest location by adding more storage space, to further meet the needs of residential and business customers in this community," stated Compass Self Storage President Todd Amsdell.
