Westlake-based Emerald Hospitality Associates, a full-service hotel management and development company, has purchased and will manage the Hilton Garden Inn Wallingford/Meriden hotel in Connecticut. The asset fits in with its overall strategy of high-quality, premium-branded hotels in thriving markets.
The acquisition is in partnership with the Cleveland-based Nimbus Investment Fund, an independent affiliate of Emerald Hospitality founded in 2011 to provide an investment vehicle for investors within the hotel space, and Core Real Estate Capital, a Columbus PE real estate firm with more than $1 billion in real estate under management.
The transaction is Emerald Hospitality’s 10th Hilton Garden, which brings its portfolio to nearly 30 hotels, including those in development or under construction.
