The Chas. E. Phipps Company has acquired a business for the first time in its century-long history with its purchase of Machinery & Tool Rentals, which has been providing Central Ohio with the sale, rental and repair of construction equipment and supplies since 1956.

“Going through our first acquisition was a great education and experience,” Phipps President Benjamin Brown said in a statement.

Hahn Loeser represented Phipps in the deal.

Phipps distributes concrete accessories, concrete repair materials, sealants, and coatings to contractors so they can build or repair industrial and commercial buildings, infrastructure, concrete wearing surfaces, or the building envelope.
