MPE Partners, a Cleveland-based private equity firm, has acquired Syracuse Plastics of North Carolina Inc. for its portfolio company, Plastic Components Inc. The addition of SPNC, a regional manufacturer of engineered and high-precision injection molded components, will help PCI address inorganic growth, such as expanding geography, technology and markets.
- The SPNC deal also increases PCI’s offerings to include press tonnage, value-added services and short lot processing capabilities.
