Preformed Line Products, a designer, manufacturer and supplier of high-quality cable anchoring and control hardware and systems, is set to acquire MICOS TELCOM s.r.o., as the company positions itself to support emerging industry technologies like 5G, network densification and metro fiber rings.
MICOS, a manufacturer of passive components for high-speed telecommunications networks, currently concentrates on fiber-to-the-home, optical distribution and datacenter products. This will complement Preformed Line Products' existing portfolio of fiber-optic connectivity devices, including the COYOTE® brand of fiber-optic closures and accessories.
