Retail Value Inc. closed on the sale of Mariner Square in Spring Hill, Florida for $17 million. Net proceeds were used to repay mortgage debt associated with RVI.
According to a Cushman & Wakefield listing of the property, Mariner Square, an 84 percent-leased, 193,724-square-foot multi-anchor community shopping center shadow-anchored by a Wal-Mart Supercenter and Sam’s Club. The center is anchored by Bealls Department Store, Ross Dress for Less, Dollar Tree, and Shoe Carnival.
Subsequent to the transaction, RVI owns interests in 22 properties located in the continental U.S. and 12 properties in Puerto Rico.
