Cleveland-headquartered SCA Sweeping Corporation of America, the largest self-performing power sweeping company in the U.S., has acquired Columbus-based Contract Sweepers & Equipment Co. This acquisition adds 105 employees and 110 frontline trucks in Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton, as well as Huntington, West Virginia.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Gerry Kesselring, former president of CSE, will take a leadership role with SCA, overseeing the combined Ohio sweeping operations.
SCA which services municipalities, departments of transportation, road and paving contractors, retail and commercial parking lots, and industrial complexes, has 40 locations in 15 states.
